# The Deans Assembly

Twice a year, when the two suns of [<mark style="color:red;">Oloma</mark>](/vyder-lore-book/planets/oloma.md) are farthest apart, all the elders of Oloma's towns and villages gather **to discuss political and social measures**.

Each dean has the **same political power as the others**.&#x20;

The size of their town or village is not taken into account.&#x20;

This form of **decentralized power** forces them to find compromises and make sure that the good of all is the priority.
