The Original Vanguard

Tak'Oba is a quiet and fearful Ecleray borned in Duka.

Like all the inhabitants of his village, he spent his time in the Green Cave.

He started as an apprentice miner and spent 12 years before finding his first emerald.

Eclerays use a technique that takes years to master, and Tak'Oba was not the most talented of his generation.

While his peers were more interested in the world around them, other plants, and animals, Tak'Oba preferred to stay in the village and sublimated the stones he has brought up from the earth.

Tak'Oba has a strong sense of community and is deeply in love with his home village, which he rarely leaves.

The emeralds he wears around his chest allow him to take a part of his village with him.

The discovery of the death of his elders shocked the young Ecleray. It forced him to travel in the outside world and to face its dangers.

This adventure will make him the first Vanguard to cross the Warp Gate and reach the Nodus.

But this came at a very high price.
