# Tak'Oba

Tak'Oba is a quiet and fearful Ecleray borned in [<mark style="color:red;">Duka</mark>](/vyder-lore-book/planets/oloma/cities/duka.md).

Like all the inhabitants of his village, he spent his time in the Green Cave.&#x20;

He started as an apprentice miner and spent 12 years before finding his first emerald.&#x20;

Eclerays use a technique that takes years to master, and **Tak'Oba was not the most talented of his generation**.

While his peers were more interested in the world around them, other plants, and animals, **Tak'Oba preferred to stay in the village** and sublimated the stones he has brought up from the earth.

Tak'Oba has a **strong sense of community** and is deeply in love with his home village, which **he rarely leaves**.

The emeralds he wears around his chest allow him to take a part of his village with him.

The discovery of the death of his elders shocked the young Ecleray. It forced him to travel in the outside world **and to face its dangers**.
